With the Family - Caroling at the Bean!

Nothing says the Holidays quite like Christmas music. Whether you’re firmly Team Post-Thanksgiving or you’ve already been rocking Mariah for weeks (raises hand), we have an experience to share that the whole family will love - Caroling at The Bean. Every Friday, a different musical group from the Chicagoland area will lead the songs, which are sure to be a mix of classics with a few family favorites. Once you’re downtown, hop over to the McCormick Tribune Rink for ice skating or head a few blocks west to check out the beautiful Christmas tree at the Walnut Room at Macy’s . A magical day that is sure to be one your family will remember forever!

With the Neighbors … Illumination: Tree Lights at Morton Arboretum

Looking for an Insta-worthy event for friends and neighbors this season? Put the early sunset times to good use and head over to the Morton Arboretum for their Illumination: Tree Lights event, running select days in November and December. The event not only highlights the beauty that is the Arboretum, but has a little something for everyone! Grab a cup of hot cocoa and take a stroll down the one-mile path admiring the display of lights and music. Warm up with a cozy drink or roast marshmallows for s’mores to wrap up the evening.

With a Date … Christmas Around the World at MSI

Check out  Christmas Around the World, an incredible exhibit at the Museum of Science and Industry. The annual event, which is open beginning November 14th, is a celebration of Christmas traditions around the globe. The Holiday of Lights display is just one reason to visit MSI - their new Toymaker 3000 will bring out the kid in you or plan your trip for December 6th’s MSI after hours event - Naughty or Nice.

With Out of Town Guests … Winter Wonderland at Navy Pier

Looking for a fun activity for the out of town guests who are starting to get a little restless? Look no further than one of Chicago’s most well-known tourist attractions - Navy Pier! The space transforms into a true Winter Wonderland with 17,000 square feet of attractions for the whole family, including rides, giant slides, indoor ice skating and more! The winter paradise is sure to get you and your guests into the holiday spirit!

With Your Coworkers … Grab some Glugg at Simon’s Tavern

If you’re hoping to find a cozy place to catch up with coworkers, look no further than Simon’s an Andersonville staple. The bar pays homage to the neighborhood’s Swedish and Norwegian heritage with an authentic cocktail called Glogg. This is the perfect way to end the evening, especially if you’ve had a busy day of team working or playing games!
